Tell us the story of your classroom, your colleagues, or your school by filling out this form or emailing your thoughts and potential blog posts to us at TNClassroomChronicles@gmail.com. Or if you have questions, comments, or feedback we want to hear that, too.
If you’re interested in submitting a post, check out these tips and tricks for blog writing we have picked up along the way.
- Because Classroom Chronicles is geared toward a broad audience of educators and parents, we strive to use a conversational, easy-to-digest tone.
- Avoid jargon and technical terms and try your best to simplify complex practices, instead linking to resources that go more in depth. The goal is that a teacher of any content area could read your post and take away several helpful ideas.
- Our word limit ranges from 500-700 words, and we have found that breaking a post into sections is very helpful (i.e., five lessons I learned as a math coach or four keys to implementing feedback). It does not have to be a numbered list, but subheadings tend to help readers digest information.
We can’t wait to hear your voice.
